You walk in a straight line with the other first years. You see some twitch nervously as they are presented to a three-legged stool with an old ratty hat upon it. To some's astonishment, it starts to sing:
Welcome to The Sorting,
Welcome to your dreams,
Put me on,
And I will show you,
Where your path will lead,
You may become a Gryffindor,
If you're bold and daring,
Or maybe you're a Ravenclaw,
Where charming wits are blaring,
Is Hufflepuff where you belong?
Are you nice and caring?
Slytherin will welcome you,
But only if you're cunning
Now put on the hat and describe yourself in a post. Please do not ask to be in a house. You may, however, pick one not to be in. Happy Sorting, students!

i would not like to be in slitherin please i would want to be in a house that starts with g. i like to be a dare devil, im nice, i like blue and red thats me oh and i like to learn

Hello, My name is Alexandria, If I'm put into Gryffindor or Hufflepuff I think I'll be ill. I'm hard to get to know, but if I decide you're worth knowing, I'll make an effort. I'm 5'2, with mid-back length light blonde straight hair. My entire family are witches and wizards.

My name is Emily Im not very smart but i am very over protective im not shy and i love to meat people. Although i dont like to admit it im kinda mean. I hate heights so yeah. I want to be put in Hufflepuff.

i am hermione and i am brave and a little bit shy but i wont be once u know me,and u wont recognise me i am also i caring person when it comes to my family and friends.and sometimes when i am angry i am pretty mean.i dont want to be in hufflepuff

I am generally nice to most people and enjoy hanging out with friends. I like to learn new things but htere r somethings i just don't get. I recently won an award for courage, friendship, honor, and citizenship. I would not like to be in Slytherin.
