This lesson today, is on magical herbs and fungi or any ption ingresients. I will give you an example and then, you copy it, but don't put what I put.
Hello Class! ~waves~
Now, today we will write a short essay. This will count double in your average. It's kinda like a test....but not really. You will write an essay on your favorite magical herbs and fungi(including potion ingredients). Now, for example I will write a short essay about one of my favorite magical herb or fungi:
There are lots of herbs and fungi in the world. Some are magic, some are muggle, but mostly, everyone has a favorite.
Mandrakes, or mandragora are an important magical herb. Even though the cry of the baby mandrakes are thinal, and you can be knocked out for hours. For, instance, Neville Longbottom, in year two didn't put his ear plugs on correctly, so he was knocked out. Also, when Draco Malfoy tried to pet it, it ended up biting him. But it isn't just for planting and laughing, it is a very important potion ingrediant. It helps those of who have been petrified, transfigured, or cursed. It also is in a number of different potions.
The backround of the Mandrake is interesting. It is native to the Mediterranean and Himalayan regions. In the muggle world, it's known to part of the nightshade family, and were narcotic during the Middle Ages.
The appearence of the mandragora is easy to tell which from which. A baby mandrake, is ugly with green molted skin, with purple leaves on the top of it's head, but the adults represent human forms. Obviously, we all know how to tell girls apart from boys. This goes for the same reason for mandragora as well.
In conclusion, mandrakes are not just a magical herbs and fungi, it is a major part of the wizarding world, and even the muggle world. It helps all over the world, and that probaly why they are many peoples favorite magical herb.
This is what I expect! Please! Do not do one on mandrakes. And, do not use you,me,we,they,my,this is why, this is how, that is why, I, I hope you.... and so on since it just sounds bad, and is not very good gramar. Also, tell me where you got your information from.
